9/25/2021 Update:

The Carroll County Health Department (CCHD), conducted follow-up E.coli testing in Bay 11 and the area of West Beach on Thursday, September 23rd.  Two (2) samples were taken in Bay 11, and two (2) samples in the area of the West Beach. Test results show levels remain high in the area of the West Beach and swimming at the West Beach will remain restricted and signage will remain in place.  Test results in Bay 11 have been reduced to safe levels for recreational use.

As a result of this follow up testing, the Carroll County Health Department has lifted the advisory issued earlier this week.

Additional testing will be completed by the Association next week and continue to monitor levels in both these areas. The West Beach area will remain closed to swimming until a safe level is obtained from future testing.
