BOARD OF DIRECTORS POSITIONS
This year in May, we will be voting on the following Board of Directors positions: Treasurer, Director of Administration, Director of Security. The Board of Directors is very important to the successful operation of Lake Mohawk. Any property owner who is a member in good standing and has been a member for at least one year, is invited to run for one of these positions. If you have any questions about the duties of these positions, please contact the office at 330.863.1031 or review the Lake Mohawk Constitution. Applications can be picked up at the Lake Office. The new Board of Directors will be sworn in at the June 2012 Board Meeting.

Contractor Comment Binder
We have established a Contractor Comment Binder in the Lake office, which allows property owners the opportunity to place comments (good or bad) regarding the quality of the contractors they have used. This should be valuable for all property owners to review when contracting work on their property.
Reminder to Property Owners About Guests
Property owners please remember that your guests are not allowed to use Lake Mohawk facilities without yourself or a responsible member of your immediate family with them the entire time they are here.
Members are reminded that if their guests show up without the proper guest card or without being called in, they will not be admitted to the Lake. Also, it is not our responsibility to, nor will we, provide such guest with your phone number.
Remember, that the guards will not call your home for your guests. Their job is to try and make sure unauthorized persons do not enter the Lake; it is not to make arrangements for you or your guests. Your help is greatly appreciated.
WINTERIZING PROCEDURES
If Grinder Pump is to be left for extended periods in an unheated location during winter, the water in the tank and the pump should be replaced with an anti-freeze solution. The procedure is as follows:
- Winterize all other plumbing fixtures in the building in the usual manner. Leave the water supply on the one commode.
- Pour 2-3 gallons of RV anti-freeze into the toilet so that it drains down into the Grinder Pump.
- Flush toilet 3-4 times to cause the Grinder Pump to turn on. Turn water off. Allow Grinder Pump to pump down and shut off automatically. This purges the system and leaves it filled
